Chicago Technology Consulting Consultant - 2027

Location: Chicago, Illinois, with a hybrid model combining in-person work in local offices or on client sites and remote work. Local and out-of-state travel may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $72,000–$87,000 annually, plus a $2,000 bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $74,000–$89,000.

What you will do

• Collaborate with consulting teams and clients to solve complex business and technology problems.
• Compile and analyze data, document findings, and communicate actionable insights.
• Support projects across business platform transformation, enterprise data and AI, Microsoft technologies, security and privacy, technology risk and resilience, or technology strategy and architecture.
• Evaluate technology, cyber, business, and third-party risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Support technology implementations, business process mapping, data migration, testing, reporting, and technical documentation.
• Build professional relationships with client and project personnel while managing assignments and priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, information technology, machine learning, quantum, or another relevant technology discipline.
• U.S. work authorization is required; hirify.global does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Copilot or generative AI.
• Advanced verbal and written communication, critical thinking, analytical ability, and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of databases, business intelligence tools, Excel or Power BI, technology risks, internal controls, cybersecurity, resilience, or risk management frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, ERP systems, security concepts, data manipulation, AI or automation use cases, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Power BI, BusinessObjects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, Tableau, QlikView, or SSRS.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Progress toward professional technical certifications.
