Lead Production Technician (Cannabis Manufacturing)

Location: Litchfield, Illinois, United States; onsite production role

Salary: $21.25–$24 per hour

What you will do

• Lead Packaging Technicians through filling, weighing, sealing, labeling, and packaging cannabis products.
• Manage daily shift operations from startup to shutdown and drive quantity, quality, and productivity targets.
• Maintain batch records, inventory tracking, and data in the state seed-to-sale system.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and ensure tools are clean, calibrated, and ready for use.
• Train and coach team members on SOPs, GMP, safety, sanitation, biosecurity, and 5S practices.
• Conduct quality checks and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules.

Requirements

• Experience leading or mentoring a team in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot filling, sealing, and measurement equipment.
• Comfort working with weights, measurements, and equipment calibration.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, climb ladders, use PPE, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly during 8–10-hour shifts.
