Auto Repair Specialist II (Automotive)

What you will do

• Perform advanced mechanical repairs involving engine performance, drivability, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, steering, suspension, heating and air conditioning systems, and complete four-wheel alignments.
• Inspect vehicles according to hirify.global quality standards and maintain shop cleanliness using 5S principles.
• Explain repair needs and completed services to customers while providing professional communication.
• Close repair orders accurately, including labor, parts, and billing documentation.
• Manage parts inventory, receive shipments, and follow environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Complete New Associate Orientation Training and Kronos Training for Hourly Associates.
• Where required by state or local law, maintain applicable ASE certifications covering steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, engine repair, manual drivetrains and axles, engine performance, and automatic transmissions/transaxles.
• Read, interpret, and record data accurately while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods in office and outdoor work environments.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays onsite in Conroe, Texas, with adherence to uniform standards.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
