Systems Administrator (AI)

Location: Bethesda, MD, United States. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret eligibility are required.

What you will do

• Administer secure compute, Linux operating systems, identity and access, storage, monitoring, and infrastructure services.
• Manage accounts, roles, permissions, certificates, services, configurations, patching, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
• Support development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, backup, recovery, incident response, and configuration-management capabilities.
• Troubleshoot operating system, application, network, storage, access, and infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate with network, database, platform, security, DevOps, and application teams while maintaining security, privacy, data governance, and system availability.

Requirements

• Experience administering enterprise systems and infrastructure in secure Federal or regulated environments.
• Hands-on Linux administration, identity and access management, storage, certificates, system services, patching, and security hardening experience.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, backup, recovery, incident response, troubleshooting, and operational reliability.
• Strong technical documentation, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret eligibility.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with secure Federal, on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
• PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Java, .NET, Jenkins, self-hosted Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, or Rancher experience.
• Experience supporting containerized or AI/ML workloads and open-source AI model infrastructure.
• Experience with Federal security, privacy, accessibility, records-management, and data governance requirements.
