Security Incident Response Analyst (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end investigations into phishing, malware, insider threats, and other advanced security incidents.
• Triage alerts and perform malware, host, network, and cloud-native analysis across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Reconstruct attacker activity, including persistence, command-and-control, lateral movement, privilege misuse, and data exfiltration.
• Drive incidents through containment, eradication, and recovery while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Develop detection logic, playbooks, and response procedures, and serve as an escalation point for complex cases.
• Document findings and communicate incident reports and executive summaries to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in incident response, DFIR, or security operations.
• Experience leading significant security investigations.
• Strong familiarity with AWS and/or GCP cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and log analysis.
• Solid understanding of identity systems and distributed architectures.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain structured under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience in large-scale consumer or SaaS environments.
• Experience working across global teams.
• Familiarity with privacy-related incident handling, including GDPR.
• Scripting or automation experience with Python or similar tools.
