Applications Engineer (Robotics)

Location: US (Remote); up to 50% domestic travel to customer sites is required, with frequent field work.

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus equity.

What you will do

• Partner with sales and customers to design robotic solutions for novel applications.
• Own customer installations end to end, including installation, programming, and field validation.
• Create sample code, application notes, white papers, and other technical enablement materials.
• Collaborate with internal engineering on new features and integrations.
• Develop technical collateral that communicates the value of robotic automation solutions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience spanning electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
• Knowledge of DC power, NPN/PNP systems, Python scripting, and CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation environments.
• Understanding of production and assembly workflows, cycle times, uptime, safety standards, and equipment integration.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences, including customers.
• Comfort with frequent domestic travel and factory-floor work.
