Communication Specialist I

Location: Remote work is available; hub locations include Bethesda, MD; New York City; Chicago, IL; Buffalo, NY; Melville, NY; and Cleveland, OH. Travel: 10% for events and meetings.

Annual salary: $56,375–$101,475.

What you will do

• Research, write, and disseminate information about major corporate initiatives.
• Create communication strategies and support executive communications.
• Develop associate updates, story ideas, sales enablement tools, and training content.
• Conduct interviews, gather data and materials, and source or create photographs and artwork.
• Produce recurring communication vehicles such as Plaza Weekly, ERG event invitations, and ICYMI content.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and meet production deadlines while collaborating with executives and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; English, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and learn substantial technical and procedural information.
• Ability to perform essential functions including seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking, with or without accommodation.
