Associate Manager, Communications- News Group

Location: 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York; hybrid schedule with work from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Support employee communications and engagement initiatives across the News Group.
• Develop content for newsletters, intranet platforms, employee meetings, leadership communications, and other internal channels.
• Help leaders communicate company strategy, organizational priorities, and business transformation initiatives.
• Partner with HR, Inclusion, business leaders, and communications teams on town halls, employee councils, career development, wellbeing, and engagement programs.
• Support external communications around major news events, special programming, organizational announcements, talent promotion, and brand visibility.
• Coordinate communications projects, calendars, platforms, resources, and administrative activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, media relations, journalism, agency communications, or a related field.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, storytelling, and organizational skills; writing samples are required.
• Experience managing employee communications channels and developing content for multiple audiences and platforms.
• Strong project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Slack, and email distribution tools.
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States and availability to work from the office at least four days per week are required.

• Design or creative development experience.
• Experience in news, media, journalism, or another fast-paced organization.
• Strong interest in journalism, news, current events, and the mission of a news organization.
• Experience supporting employee engagement or organizational communications programs.
