Public Relations and Communications Specialist (AI)

Location: United States; remote

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 base salary per year, plus bonus and RSUs.

What you will do

• Lead media relations strategy with external PR agencies, including pitching stories, managing press inquiries, coordinating interviews, and briefing executives.
• Write press releases, media statements, bylines, and executive social media content.
• Build relationships with reporters covering business, AI, marketing, and ecommerce.
• Manage the industry awards program and prepare submissions highlighting company, customer, and team achievements.
• Coordinate two PR agencies, support internal communications, and turn company milestones into employee announcements.
• Own media analytics and reporting, translating coverage trends into improved PR strategy.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications for AI or B2B technology companies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and message-framing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones in a global company.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to adapt when priorities change.
• Experience using AI in professional work.
