Automation Developer (Travel Technology)

Location: Remote within the United States; the position is associated with Virginia Beach, VA

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain travel software, automated workflows, and technical solutions that reduce repetitive work.
• Analyze business processes and create end-to-end workflows connecting enterprise applications, databases, and APIs.
• Support internal and external customers by researching product issues, diagnosing intermediate to advanced problems, and providing solutions.
• Maintain travel technology products, coordinate upgrades and vendor releases, and ensure application changes follow standard processes.
• Document automation designs, processes, and procedures for governance, audits, and operational continuity.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors, and leadership on projects, progress reporting, customer issues, and implementation risks.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in the travel industry.
• Expertise in at least one Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Solid understanding of JSON, XML, web services, and SQL databases.
• Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and handle multiple priorities.
