QA Automation Engineer (Python/C++)

Location: Valencia, Spain; hybrid work with 1 day in the office and 4 days working from home.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for sophisticated desktop applications.
• Build and improve end-to-end testing strategies covering frontend functionality, backend services, system integrations, and APIs.
• Validate APIs and backend services using Postman and other testing tools.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA specialists, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, support issue resolution, and improve automation frameworks and testing processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong hands-on experience testing desktop applications and frontend, backend, integrations, and APIs.
• Experience with Squish or another test automation framework.
• Experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, with the ability to integrate testing into development workflows.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is mandatory.

• Experience with C++ application development environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with test automation best practices and quality metrics.
• Exposure to international and cross-functional teams.
