Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Automation)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be U.S. citizens, valid green card holders, or have political asylum or refugee status.

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain keyword-driven automated test suites across the software development lifecycle.
• Automate functional and regression testing for web applications and design API test coverage.
• Author, manage, and execute test cases while maintaining traceability from requirements to execution.
• Debug and triage test failures, distinguishing product defects from environment and test-harness issues.
• Support test data setup, execution, reporting, and coverage planning across multiple environments.
• Present testing results and risks, contribute to engineering strategy, and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience; equivalent relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Expert knowledge of testing methodologies and experience optimizing quality against cost.
• Experience with keyword-driven testing, preferably Robot Framework, and web application testing.
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger UI.
• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and Jira Xray.
• Must meet U.S. eligibility requirements and complete VA onboarding, PIV credentialing, and the applicable background investigation.

Nice to have

• Playwright experience.
• Linux Bash or Windows batch scripting.
• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with the Tricentis automation tool suite.
