Field Service Team Lead (Installations)

Location: Cardiff and South Wales, United Kingdom; on the road and at customer sites. Night shifts and weekend work are required.

Salary: £20 per hour. Fixed-term contract for 6 months, minimum 30 hours per week, with possible extension.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate Field Service Technicians during customer-site installations.
• Mount, connect, configure, and oversee the installation of camera hardware.
• Conduct site checks and briefings, identify installation risks, and resolve issues to meet schedules and SLAs.
• Review and sign off completed installations, maintain accurate activity records, and onboard products into the system.
• Train team members, enforce safety procedures, and ensure correct use of power tools.
• Track team speed and quality KPIs while communicating progress to supervisors, customers, and technicians.

Requirements

• Previous field technician experience in field service, installation, construction, or a related area, including experience leading or supervising others.
• Leadership, coordination, troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills.
• Technical aptitude and proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Physical stamina for standing and performing demanding work for periods of up to 9 hours.
• Valid UK driving licence and reliable transportation to customer sites are required.
• Availability for night shifts and weekends is required.
