IT Project Manager (Fintech)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work model with 2 days working from home.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives across infrastructure, platforms, software development, DevOps, security, and trading platforms.
• Define project scope, plans, timelines, dependencies, resources, and delivery expectations with technical teams.
• Translate business and technical requirements into actionable project plans and coordinate delivery across IT, Product, and the Global PMO.
• Monitor progress, risks, and blockers, escalating issues and coordinating mitigation.
• Maintain Jira structures, Confluence pages, workflows, documentation, and project reports.
• Support agile delivery, lessons learned, and continuous improvement of the IT delivery model.

Requirements

• BSc or BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of IT project management experience in an engineering or technical environment.
• Fluent English is required; resumes must be submitted in English.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, infrastructure concepts, DevOps workflows, and QA processes.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to understand and challenge technical requirements, architecture diagrams, dependencies, and delivery estimates.

Nice to have

• Experience in the FX or fintech industry.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification.
• Additional language skills.
