Deployment Manager (Telecommunications)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Malaysia; hybrid/onsite

What you will do

• Manage field operations covering network installations, maintenance, upgrades, and fault restoration across APAC and the Middle East.
• Provide 24/7 operational and onsite support as required to maintain service availability and reliability.
• Plan and execute field-based network projects, coordinating site readiness, access, logistics, resources, and delivery risks.
• Coordinate with regional engineering teams, regulators, compliance teams, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Track operational KPIs and service metrics, prepare management reports, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead network optimization and automation initiatives to improve reliability, performance, quality, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in field operations, network deployment, or infrastructure operations.
• Strong understanding of data center operations and telecommunications networks, including MPLS, transmission, Internet, cloud, and SD-WAN.
• Proven experience managing network projects with cross-functional teams across different regions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
