Quality Analytics Manager (Biotech)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Remote, hybrid, or on-site work may be selected under the Flex @ Vertex program.

Salary: $114,400–$171,600 per year, plus potential annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights for quality decision-making.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and data visualizations for Quality Leadership Teams and governance activities.
• Develop data analyses, collection systems, and strategies that improve statistical efficiency and quality.
• Document data life cycles, sources, and chain of custody across disparate systems.
• Advise business partners on data models and analysis supporting Vertex delivery and oversight.
• Identify quantitative review opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Typically four years of experience in data analysis and reporting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, reporting, and data interpretation skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience developing queries, writing reports, and creating data visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages such as R, SPSS, or SAS.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or another regulated industry, with awareness of applicable development, manufacturing, and distribution regulations.
