TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (AI): Designing and delivering scalable candidate-matching systems for HiredScore using Python, React, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Celery with an accent on distributed architectures, production reliability, and AI integration. Focus on evolving high-concurrency systems, building observability and alerting practices, integrating third-party services, and mentoring engineers.
Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely

What you will do
- Design and implement robust, scalable systems for global enterprise customers.
- Own the engineering lifecycle from architecture and implementation through global delivery.
- Evolve distributed systems running on Kubernetes for a rapidly scaling client base.
- Establish production standards for testing, observability, proactive alerting, and system stability.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into core products in partnership with Product Managers and Data Scientists.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design documentation, and pair programming.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience designing complex, large-scale systems and high-concurrency architectures.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with message brokers such as Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL skills, including data modeling for scale with technologies such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with three days per week in the Israel office.
Nice to have
- Experience with Java or Go.
- Familiarity with React or Vue.
- Experience with Argo Workflows or Airflow and robust ETL/data pipelines.
- Experience onboarding and mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
