TL;DR
Team Lead Software Engineering (AI): Leading development of HiredScore sourcing products that translate AI/ML insights into scalable recruiter workflow features, APIs, web applications, bots, and automation layers with an accent on backend, full-stack, and QA engineering. Focus on designing secure asynchronous systems, integrating AI services through GraphQL/REST and queue-based architectures, and mentoring a cross-functional engineering team.
Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional team of full-stack engineers, backend engineers, and QA automation specialists.
- Design and oversee scalable, reliable, and secure systems connecting backend AI services with user-facing product layers.
- Drive development across GraphQL and REST APIs, web applications, RPA and workflow automation, and MS Teams bots.
- Guide the implementation of queue-based architectures for high-throughput asynchronous processing, including RabbitMQ-based systems.
- Establish development, testing, quality, automation, and delivery best practices.
- Partner with Product Management, Data Science, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical execution.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing and leading cross-functional software engineering teams.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development or engineering.
- Strong backend development experience with Python or Node.js.
- Professional experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Expert knowledge of GraphQL and REST API architectures, plus experience with messaging queues and asynchronous processing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; professional fluency in English is required.
Nice to have
- RabbitMQ, Python Celery, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Airflow, or Prefect experience.
- Experience with MS Teams or Slack bots, agents, RPA, and workflow automation.
- Background in HR technology, talent acquisition, or enterprise SaaS.
- Experience defining quality strategies, working with QA teams, and driving CI/CD pipelines.
