ATR - Senior Export Control Officer (Export Control & Sanctions)

What you will do

• Assess export control, sanctions, and international trade regulatory risks for hirify.global and its subsidiaries.
• Support compliant business activities and complex international transactions.
• Coordinate and execute assigned export control and sanctions matters as a senior subject-matter expert.
• Advise business stakeholders and translate complex regulations into practical, risk-based recommendations.
• Maintain and continuously improve compliance processes, tools, and governance.
• Contribute to the development of hirify.global’s Export Control & Sanctions Programme.

Requirements

• Relevant education in international trade, export control, compliance, law, international relations, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Typically 10+ years of professional experience in export control, sanctions, or international trade compliance within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of EU and French export control regulations, with knowledge of US and UK frameworks.
• Knowledge of sanctions, embargoes, trade restrictions, diversion and circumvention risks, end-use and end-user assessment.
• Experience with export classification, licensing, authorizations, technology control measures, compliance screening, due diligence, and management tools.
• Fluent English and French required. Strong communication, stakeholder management, autonomy, judgment, and project management skills are expected.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defence, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience interacting with governmental authorities.
• Italian language skills.
