Commodity Manager Airframe MRO (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for aircraft MRO sub-commodities.
• Lead tenders, evaluate supplier proposals, and select solutions for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Negotiate, establish, and manage supplier contracts, including renewals and new agreements.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and manage performance, risks, corrective actions, and claims.
• Coordinate multifunctional teams across MRO Network, Services, Sales, Compliance, Finance, and Quality.
• Perform market analysis, support sales campaigns, contribute to make-or-buy decisions, and lead value-creation initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in procurement, engineering, services, MRO, project management, or quality, including at least 2 years managing worldwide suppliers.
• Experience managing complex projects in a global aerospace environment, preferably in defence.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations, airworthiness requirements, export control, integrity, and compliance policies.
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken, are required.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, relationship-building, risk-management, and conflict-management skills; ability to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP and procurement tools.
• French and/or German language skills.
• Additional aircraft MRO knowledge.
