In Vitro Disease Modeling and Functional Genomics Scientist (Stem Cell/CRISPR)

Location: Cambridge, MA, USA; direct work at the client site. Candidates should live within a commutable range of Cambridge, MA. Full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with overtime as needed.

Salary: USD 112,000–116,000 yearly

What you will do

• Develop stem cell-based in vitro disease platforms.
• Develop high-content imaging assays for small-molecule and CRISPR/genetic screens.
• Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams across therapeutic and functional areas.
• Maintain electronic lab notebooks and sample inventories.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in a related scientific discipline and 1–3 years of wet-lab experience.
• Proficiency in cell culture, stem cell differentiation, and in vitro disease model development.
• Experience with CRISPR, siRNA, ASOs, lentiviral systems, and AAVs.
• Expertise in RNA extraction, qPCR, ELISA/MSD, and ICC.
• Experience with FLIPR and Seahorse OCR platforms.
• Strong critical thinking, experimental strategy, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
