Senior IT Project Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Define project charters, scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, milestones, and budgets.
• Lead the architecture, implementation, integration, and support of enterprise Generative AI solutions.
• Direct AI initiatives involving machine learning, large language models, natural language processing, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, RAG, vector databases, and AI agents.
• Lead proofs of concept, pilot programs, and production deployments while establishing AI governance, model evaluation, responsible AI, and lifecycle standards.
• Coordinate developers, data engineers, cybersecurity teams, data scientists, vendors, business leaders, and government stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, monitor risks and performance, communicate project status, and lead assigned contractor staff.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and hold an active Top Secret Clearance; SCI access may be required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, project management, information technology, or a related field; significant related experience may substitute.
• Hands-on experience with an enterprise AI platform such as Microsoft Azure AI, Azure OpenAI Service, Amazon Bedrock, AWS AI Services, or Google Vertex AI.
• Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise applications through APIs and cloud services, and developing secure, scalable cloud-based AI solutions.
• Experience with Generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, NLP, machine learning, semantic search, vector databases, and AI model evaluation.
• Knowledge of project governance, Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, responsible AI, data governance, privacy, and compliance.

Nice to have

• Advanced business or technical degree.
• Experience with Claude, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Atlassian, Jira, Confluence, or TFS.
• PMP, FAC P/PM, Azure AI, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Machine Learning, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, CompTIA AI Essentials+, or IT service management certification.
