Sr. Analyst, Data & Reporting (Retail Analytics)

Location: Chicago, IL — Chicago/Aon Center

Salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Analyze sales, distribution, merchandising, innovation, velocity, broker performance, and other business metrics for weekly and monthly business-unit routines.
• Develop insights-based category selling stories and recommendations covering pricing, assortment, distribution, shelving, and merchandising.
• Support annual operating plans, new product launches, forecasting, sell-in, and performance tracking.
• Use retail analytics and multiple data sources to create reports, presentations, and total business-unit views.
• Communicate brand initiatives, supply challenges, and waste risks to field sales teams through internal channels and meetings.
• Perform financial analysis related to volume and trade.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2–3 years of experience in business, sales, data analytics, retail, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce accurate, timely reporting, improve processes, meet deadlines, and balance competing priorities.
