AI Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Lead and grow an AI engineering team through hiring, mentoring, and technical standard-setting.
• Own delivery of AI/ML systems from exploration through production, including training pipelines, inference infrastructure, and monitoring.
• Partner with product and data science teams to turn business requirements into technical roadmaps and priorities.
• Drive architecture for scalable data pipelines, model serving, experiment tracking, and observability.
• Build engineering processes for model-driven development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment practices.
• Identify production risks such as model drift, data-quality issues, and performance degradation, and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
• Production experience shipping AI systems such as model-serving platforms, inference optimization, or data pipelines.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with MLOps tooling and technical team leadership or mentoring.
• Ability to remain hands-on while making strategic AI engineering decisions and validating technical approaches.
