What you will do

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Houston Childcare Project.
  • Oversee accounting, payroll, and procurement functions.
  • Monitor grant and contract compliance with federal, state, local, and funder regulations.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for leadership and funders.
  • Advise senior leadership on financial risks, opportunities, and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in nonprofit or government-funded programs.
  • Expertise in GAAP, cost allocation, and grants management.
  • Work location: Houston, Texas, USA.

Nice to have

  • CPA or MBA.
