Solution Director, Data and AI (Palantir Foundry)

Location: Remote within the United States. Candidates near San Antonio, Texas, work in a hybrid schedule with two office days and three remote days; occasional travel of up to 25% to customer sites and industry events is required.

Salary: $192,610–$338,993.60 per year, depending on geographic market, skills, knowledge, and experience. Additional incentive compensation, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan may be available.

What you will do

• Lead the design and technical sales of enterprise AI platform, generative AI, and data modernization solutions.
• Drive opportunity creation through Palantir Foundry/AIP demonstrations, executive generative AI sessions, and Lakehouse transformation discussions.
• Design Foundry data integrations, ontology-driven applications, operational workflows, and decision intelligence solutions.
• Architect RAG and custom LLM solutions using Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q, vector databases, and related technologies.
• Guide Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS-native data modernization programs, including migration planning and platform assessments.
• Develop business cases, reference architectures, Statements of Work, and customer roadmaps while collaborating with sales teams.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
• At least five years of experience as a senior-level architect or solutions leader.
• Enterprise-scale experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP, including data modeling, pipeline development, ontology design, operational workflows, and AI-driven decision intelligence.
• Deep experience with generative AI, LLM architectures, RAG implementations, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Q.
• Experience delivering modern data architectures and Databricks and/or Snowflake implementations, with AWS Glue or EMR as supporting services.
• Strong executive communication skills, including experience engaging C-level stakeholders on complex AI and data platform transformations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir and AWS partner ecosystems, regulated industries, or building AI and data modernization practices.
• Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS-native analytics, knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, and ontology-driven data management.
• Palantir, AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake certifications, or the ability to obtain relevant certification within 90 days.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, LangChain, vector databases, PySpark, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, and orchestration tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred.
