Location: Remote within the Central or West Coast regions of the United States; willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD annually, with potential annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end AI/ML technical strategy for customer accounts, from discovery through production deployment and consumption growth.
- Design scalable, production-grade solutions involving RAG, tool calling, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails, AI evaluation, and observability.
- Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and directors on technical architecture and business value.
- Drive competitive technical wins through custom-built Databricks solutions and platform demonstrations.
- Coordinate DSAs, solutions architects, and partners to deliver complex customer solutions.
- Provide structured feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps to influence product direction.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
- Experience with production ML infrastructure, drift monitoring, LLMs, agentic systems, vector databases, fine-tuning, guardrails, and AI frameworks.
- Strong coding skills in Python and SQL, including live coding, debugging, and solution building.
- Deep expertise in distributed data systems, scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience with public-cloud production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure, security, and governance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Databricks certifications in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or Platform.
- Experience with Snowflake, AWS native services, or Azure Synapse.
- Background in a data/AI company or cloud provider.
- Industry expertise in financial services, healthcare, retail, media, or related sectors.
