Data Scientist — Feature Engineering (Databricks) (Credit Risk/AI): Building governed transactional and credit behavior features for a Credit Score financial model with an accent on Databricks, Unity Catalog, metadata, and reusable feature design. Focus on maintaining training-production consistency, implementing lineage and data quality controls, and monitoring deployment pipelines and FinOps practices.

What you will do
- Design transactional and credit behavior features covering frequency, recency, amount, digital engagement, and delinquency.
- Implement reusable features with metadata covering descriptions, primary and foreign keys, lineage, ownership, tags, lifecycle, and temporality.
- Apply D1/D2 feature design principles to maximize reuse across modeling and platform teams.
- Follow bundle validation, DDL, and PRD deployment workflows, including job monitoring and FinOps practices.
- Maintain consistency between training and production as the model’s single source of truth.
Requirements
- Experience with feature engineering or data engineering on Databricks and Unity Catalog.
- Advanced SQL and Python skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and data quality, including DQX.
- Familiarity with naming conventions and metadata standards.
- Availability to work remotely from Latin America.
Nice to have
- Feature Store certification at Fundamentals or Expert level.
- Experience working with financial data.
- Experience developing AI agents or agentic infrastructure, including Mosaic AI Agent Framework, agent orchestration, or MCP.
