People Operations Lead (iGaming & Fintech)

Location: Remote-first; work from wherever you do your best thinking.

Salary: €20,000–€35,000 gross annual.

What you will do

• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, compensation reviews, contracts, benefits, and leave coordination.
• Maintain confidential employee records in the Humaans HRIS and ensure compliance with Portuguese labor law.
• Support employees and managers, coordinate recruitment, and contribute to engagement, performance, and learning programs.
• Plan virtual and in-person team events, including the annual Workation, and coordinate business travel.
• Improve People Ops workflows, automate manual HR tasks with AI tools, and use HR metrics for data-informed decisions.
• Collaborate on employer-branding initiatives and strengthen the remote employee experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in People or HR roles in Portugal or at Portugal-based companies.
• Degree in Human Resources, Work Psychology, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of Portuguese labor law.
• Daily experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar for HR automation.
• Recruitment and sourcing experience for niche, hard-to-find profiles, plus familiarity with HRIS platforms.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
