Materials Intern (3D Printing)

hirify.global develops 3D printing tools and technologies used for product development, prototyping, manufacturing, and medical devices.

What you will do

• Work in the materials development laboratory on a range of materials challenges.
• Develop and formulate new materials for 3D printing.
• Test materials that have not previously been used in hirify.global printing processes.
• Conduct experiments that support solutions for new 3D printing challenges and real products.

Requirements

• Passion for materials science or chemistry.
• Comfort working in a wet laboratory environment.
• Completed research or coursework involving polymers.
• Comfort using CAD programs such as SolidWorks.
• Basic computer programming skills in Python.
• Background in organic chemistry or plastics engineering.
