Senior Solutions Engineer (Security and Observability)

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to understand customer challenges and communicate the platform’s value proposition.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for ANZ accounts across security and observability use cases.
• Lead technical validations and Proof of Value evaluations throughout the sales cycle.
• Deliver product demonstrations and guide executives, developers, and Site Reliability Engineers through technical solutions.
• Work with Product Management and Engineering to improve the hirify.global service based on customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, implementation, support, SRE, or software development with customer-facing project leadership.
• Hands-on knowledge of security technologies including IDS/IPS, SIEM, log management, network and endpoint security, threat detection, incident response, MSSP/MDR, threat feeds, and CASB.
• Experience with SaaS solutions, multi-tenant architectures, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, and broad technical infrastructure.
• Understanding of modern application architectures, including microservices, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Lambda.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, business acumen, and technical credibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with Telegraf, Fluent Bit, Fluentd, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience leading Proof of Value technical validations.
• Azure certification and experience with Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, or New Relic.
• Experience in a successful startup and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
