TL;DR
Senior HR Ops Specialist (HR Operations): Supporting the full employee lifecycle and improving onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, HR systems, and employee documentation with an accent on local labor legislation, service design, and data quality. Focus on partnering with employees and external providers, designing more efficient HR processes, and coordinating cross-functional work with IT, Finance, and Legal.
Location: Helsinki Metropolitan Area; hybrid setup with two to three days at the office per week

What you will do
- Support employees and leads with everyday HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Improve onboarding, offboarding, and other employee processes using service design principles.
- Coordinate with external payroll, benefits, and occupational health providers.
- Maintain accurate HR systems, employee data, employment documents, contracts, and policies.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and local HR on company-wide practices, wellbeing programs, and health and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Hands-on HR operations experience across the full employee lifecycle.
- Knowledge of local labor legislation and experience working with external suppliers.
- Experience acting as a payroll contact alongside external payroll providers.
- Experience with project teamwork, service design, data-informed problem solving, and agile HR process design.
- Fluent English and fluency in the relevant local language are required.
