People Operations Specialist (AI SaaS)

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Salary: €30,000–€35,000 gross annual

What you will do

• Support employees and managers with contracts, payroll, benefits, policies, and sensitive people-related questions.
• Own onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and contract changes across the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain HRIS employee data, workflows, and troubleshooting processes.
• Coordinate employment-law compliance, collective agreements, working-time records, audits, and external labor advisors.
• Coordinate PRL activities and the Equality Plan, including indicators, policies, and the external prevention service.
• Analyze headcount, turnover, and absenteeism data and improve People processes.

Requirements

• Expert-level Spanish and solid English are required.
• 3–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a similar generalist role.
• Good understanding of Spanish labor law and Health & Safety (PRL).
• Experience with an HRIS such as hirify.global, Personio, BambooHR, or a similar system.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, discretion, and ownership in ambiguous situations.

Nice to have

• Experience in a technology company or scale-up.
• Experience coordinating an external prevention service and preventive actions.
