Communications Manager, Surgery EMEA (MedTech)

Location: Diegem, Flemish Brabant, Belgium, with additional posting locations in Amersfoort, Netherlands; Hamburg and Norderstedt, Germany; Issy-les-Moulineaux, France; Madrid, Spain; Pomezia, Italy; and Prague, Czechia.

Salary: €79,800–€137,770 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Execute the EMEA communications strategy for the Surgery business unit, aligned with growth priorities and innovation milestones.
• Translate business priorities into clear, compelling communications campaigns.
• Deliver integrated communications across media, executive, internal, and digital channels.
• Own communications channel management, including HOME, distribution lists, and newsletters.
• Partner with Legal, Regulatory, Government Affairs, Media Relations, regional teams, agencies, and freelancers to coordinate delivery and approvals.
• Use data, insights, and global reports to improve communications effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate affairs, or public affairs.
• Experience supporting commercial businesses, preferably in healthcare, MedTech, or other regulated industries.
• Deep knowledge of the EMEA region and its market nuances.
• Strong writing, storytelling, communication, external communication, internal communications, project communications, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong IT familiarity and willingness to learn new communications systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with branding, brand reputation management, communications measurement, integrated marketing communications, employer branding, or risk assessments.
• Experience in leadership, team management, relationship building, or inclusive leadership.
