Developer Experience Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in Helsinki, Finland

What you will do

• Research and build AI tools and agentic workflows for developers.
• Improve the software development lifecycle from local development and CI/CD through Kubernetes and production.
• Build internal tooling, CLIs, APIs, integrations, platform abstractions, and self-service developer workflows.
• Design scalable DevOps workflows, delivery patterns, golden paths, templates, and pipelines for hundreds of developers and services.
• Partner with developers, Platform Engineering, and Security to identify problems, resolve trade-offs, and validate improvements through rollout, documentation, and feedback.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in software engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Developer Experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git, containers, and Linux.
• Experience with reusable CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Ability to build and maintain software in Go, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience building AI or LLM tools and agentic workflows, including tool and API integrations and reliability evaluation.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes Operators, CRDs, Rancher, Helm, or Kustomize.
• Developer portals or Internal Developer Platforms.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
• LLM inference, AI infrastructure, or GPU workload experience.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, or managed cloud services.
