What you will do
- Oversee daily HR operations for approximately 700 headquarters employees in Budapest and Malta.
- Lead one internal Payroll Manager and coordinate an outsourced HR administration provider.
- Govern employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contracting, immigration, exits, redundancies, and terminations.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll delivery, vendor performance, service standards, SLAs, reporting, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Drive HR process harmonization, digitalization, continuous improvement, and cross-functional projects.
- Advise senior leaders and employees on payroll, labour administration, taxation, social security, immigration, and disciplinary matters.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years managing or delivering high-quality HR services in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cross-functional HR projects, organizational change, process implementation, and structured problem-solving.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, payroll, personal taxation, and social security matters.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems, with interest in automation and data-driven HR.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Relations, or a related field.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
- Experience liaising with legal, tax, or labour authorities.
- Proficiency in Hungarian or another European language.
