POC-IT Project Manager (Healthcare IT)

Location: Jicin, Czechia; remote work based in the place of residence with customer sites across the Czech Republic. Up to 50% travel within the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including occasional overnight stays.

What you will do

• Support the implementation and configuration of healthcare middleware solutions.
• Assist with integrations between middleware, HIS, LIS, and clinical applications.
• Collaborate with hospital IT departments and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Deliver user training and first-level technical support.
• Support system updates, maintenance, documentation, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Contribute to innovation and digital healthcare initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, or secondary technical education with relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT systems, databases, and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of HL7, ASTM, or POCT1-A standards.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and SQL fundamentals.
• Fluent Czech and English.
• Valid driving license and ability to transport and install IT equipment when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MIRTH Connect or other middleware platforms.
• Experience with HIS, LIS, or POCT connectivity solutions.
• Experience in cybersecurity, digital healthcare, or AI applications.
