EHS Engineer (Manufacturing Safety)

Location: Nyíregyháza, Hungary; based at the manufacturing site

Global manufacturer of construction toys operating a large multinational manufacturing organization.

What you will do

• Support health, safety, and environmental compliance across production and manufacturing operations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks in production, packing, and logistics areas.
• Provide safety guidance for environments involving automated vehicles, robotics, and new technologies.
• Partner with operational leaders, engineers, and EHS colleagues on daily decisions and larger initiatives.
• Support automation projects, new production lines, evolving safety standards, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Experience delivering health and safety compliance activities in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation processes.
• Practical knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and standards.
• Completed safety-related qualification as a technician or engineer.
• 1–3 years of experience working in a production facility.
• Ability to work at the Nyíregyháza manufacturing site in Hungary.

• Experience delivering safety or operational continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing manufacturing, automation, or workplace safety projects.
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives with multiple operational stakeholders.
