Medical Information Specialist (German & English)

Location: Home office based or European Hub Office, ideally in Poland, Ireland, the UK, Italy, Portugal, Germany, or Spain. Must be legally eligible to work in the European Union or the UK. Working hours are 8am–6pm CET, Monday–Friday. Travel of up to 10% may be required.

What you will do

• Triage and respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers.
• Provide drug information verbally and in writing, including medical inquiry custom responses.
• Identify adverse events and product complaints and collect the information required for compliant initial reports.
• Prepare adverse event, product complaint, and medical inquiry narratives.
• Coordinate quality-related complaints with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants.
• Evaluate medical literature and support medical writing, market research, sales training, and field liaison projects.

Requirements

• Degree in life sciences, healthcare, or an equivalent field.
• Strong clinical background and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• English at C1 level is required.
• Native German is required.
• Ability to work Europe-based hours and participate in assigned on-call coverage.
• Experience with medical information, clinical work, pharmaceutical environments, call centres, medical writing, safety databases, or medical information management systems is valuable.

Nice to have

• PharmD, MPharm, MSc, BSc Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Anatomy and Physiology, Health Science, or Human Science degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows applications, and medical information or safety systems.
• Experience in medical writing, pharmaceutical industry, or clinical practice.
