Purchaser (Gearboxes)

What you will do

• Manage product-related material purchasing within the global gearbox commodity for hirify.global plants in Hungary and abroad.
• Coordinate strategic purchasing activities in line with the global gearbox commodity strategy and internal stakeholder requirements.
• Prepare and conduct purchasing negotiations through contract conclusion, including development and framework supply contracts.
• Support cost, quality, and delivery objectives in development projects through the early integration of capable suppliers.
• Monitor and steer supplier performance while analyzing global procurement markets.
• Identify procurement potential and cost-reduction measures in cooperation with internal company interfaces.

Requirements

• Completed studies, preferably in business administration or industrial engineering.
• Three to five years of professional experience in strategic purchasing and in-depth knowledge of contract law.
• Experience in project management, negotiations, and work in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments.
• Strong technical affinity, entrepreneurial and analytical thinking, and an independent, flexible, and efficient working style.
• Business-fluent English communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
• Confident use of MS Office and SAP, with a strong willingness to travel.
