Senior Credit Controller (Finance)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Cossington, Leicester site, with office collaboration at the Leicestershire HQ or London, Holborn office. Fully remote working is not available.

What you will do

• Manage credit control across direct and affiliate revenue streams, including debt collection and escalation of non-paying accounts.
• Post cashbook entries from bank feeds and accurately allocate incoming receipts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between affiliate platforms and Business Central with external partners.
• Produce weekly and monthly accounts receivable ledgers, issue customer statements, and resolve queries and disputes.
• Manage transactions in the data validation pipeline and identify opportunities to simplify or automate reconciliations and routine processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in accounts receivable or credit control and a strong understanding of credit management principles.
• Experience contacting customers about outstanding balances and resolving disputes.
• Strong Excel skills, including working with and interrogating large data sets.
• Accurate, methodical reconciliation skills and the ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP system is beneficial but not essential.

Nice to have

• Experience in omnichannel environments such as retail, ecommerce, or B2B.
