Computer Vision / ML Engineer (Industrial Inspection)

What you will do

• Join a two-person core computer-vision team developing an X-ray inspection proof of concept for wind turbine blades.
• Create and maintain the labelling protocol and labelled datasets for scarce inspection data.
• Implement and test detection rules designed with the senior engineer and NDT expert.
• Build batch-processing workflows and metrics for measuring detection quality.
• Develop a tool that enables experts to review and verify each detected finding.
• Work with stitched X-ray images of complete blades containing tens of thousands of pixels.

Requirements

• Previous experience learning an unfamiliar domain on a project and delivering a working result.
• Strong Python development skills with an emphasis on clean, testable code.
• Careful approach to measurement, validation, and determining whether numerical results are reliable.
• Experience relevant to computer vision, machine learning, image processing, data labelling, detection, testing, or metrics.
• No prior X-ray or inspection background is required; domain knowledge will be provided.
• Availability to work remotely from the European Union, Georgia, Kazakhstan, or Uzbekistan.
