Machine Learning Engineer (MLOps & AI Integration) (AI/aerospace): Industrializing machine learning and GenAI solutions from proof of value to secure enterprise production across OpenShift and GCP with an accent on CI/CD, platform integration, and scalable infrastructure. Focus on building RAG data pipelines, integrating LLMs and predictive APIs, monitoring model health and data drift, and optimizing CPU/GPU resources.
Location: Albacete, Spain; hybrid working model with occasional travel to Marignane, France, and Donauwörth, Germany.

What you will do
- Industrialize machine learning models and GenAI solutions from proof of value to enterprise production on OpenShift AI and GCP.
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and related software engineering practices.
- Integrate chatbots, LLMs, predictive APIs, RAG pipelines, search engines, vector databases, and graph databases into business applications.
- Monitor model health, API performance, and data drift while optimizing CPU/GPU resource usage.
- Create Docker and Git starter kits, maintain data science environments, and resolve complex dependency issues.
- Bridge the international Innovation team and the Albacete IT department while ensuring cybersecurity compliance.
Requirements
- 3–4+ years of full-time post-graduate industry experience in Machine Learning Engineering, MLOps, or Software Engineering.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Advanced Python skills and experience with OOP, APIs, FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, GCP, MLflow, Git, and CI/CD.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, pgvector, Elasticsearch, graph databases, monitoring tools, and GenAI integration frameworks.
- Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory.
- Ability to collaborate across international teams and travel occasionally to France and Germany.
