Data Science Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from Spain, with the role based in Barcelona

What you will do

• Partner with internal teams and provide data science expertise on business and product projects.
• Build, evaluate, and ship machine learning and AI models for customer-facing products.
• Take solutions from initial business questions through production deployment.
• Maintain and support important data domains as business needs arise.
• Research advanced AI capabilities and experiment with their application in hospitality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess whether solutions are ready for customer use.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data science and independent project delivery.
• Experience using Python to develop machine learning or AI solutions.
• Experience with cloud orchestration and generative AI.
• Track record of taking machine learning models or AI products into production for customers.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders on ambiguous data science problems.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS environment.
• Consulting background with experience delivering production-ready data science work.
