Payroll Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Remote, based in Malaysia

What you will do

• Process payroll for Malaysia, Singapore, China, Australia, and Japan.
• Manage salaries, bonuses, benefits, stock compensation, and statutory deductions.
• Coordinate payroll data between BambooHR, payroll systems, HR, Finance, and financial reporting.
• Support salaried employees and contractors while maintaining correct employment classifications.
• Resolve employee payroll queries and validate payroll vendor invoices and third-party payments.
• Prepare payroll reports, audits, reconciliations, statutory filings, and compliance improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience running multi-country payroll, especially across APAC.
• Strong understanding of regional tax structures, wage types, and statutory requirements.
• Must be based in Malaysia and able to work remotely.
• Experience with payroll systems and strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• High integrity, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
