Senior SW Integration Engineer (Galileo)

Location: Hybrid role based in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain. Includes up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area and possible travel to Germany and Italy.

hirify.global contributes to Galileo, a major project in the European space sector, with work performed at the Galileo control centre.

What you will do

• Integrate, verify, and validate software components for the Galileo control centre.
• Coordinate tasks carried out by small integration teams.
• Install the complete control-centre software and prepare test environments.
• Set up continuous integration, automate tests, and execute and report test activities.
• Develop test tools and manage system configurations.
• Travel to Germany and Italy to support installations and testing when required.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in systems integration.
• Expertise in complex and distributed system integration, primarily with Linux.
• Experience with integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Knowledge of virtualization or container technologies such as vSphere, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with requirements, test, incident, ticket, or source-code management tools such as DOORS, qTest, Jira, Git, or SVN.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python or Ansible.
