Clinical Operations Study Country Lead I (AI)

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany; hybrid working. The role covers clinical studies across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria and requires approximately 10–20% travel within Germany.

What you will do

• Develop and implement local recruitment, retention, site-mapping, and site-engagement strategies.
• Organize local study kick-offs and lead country-level study set-up activities.
• Own local study performance, timelines, risk assessment, site engagement, and issue escalation.
• Coordinate with global and local study teams, monitoring teams, vendors, Medical Affairs, and other stakeholders.
• Support budget preparation, manage financial resources, and address budget-related issues.
• Maintain data quality, patient safety, GCP compliance, CRA training, audit activities, and system readiness.

Requirements

• University degree in medicine, pharmacy, biology, biochemistry, or a related natural science.
• Mandatory clinical research experience, preferably with project management experience and work as a field monitor or site coordinator.
• Solid knowledge of clinical development processes and relevant therapeutic or disease areas.
• GCP certificate, strong data analytics skills, and proficiency with digital tools, platforms, and systems.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, risk management, change management, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Fluent German and English required.
