Master Data Clerk (SAP)

Location: Frederick, Maryland, USA; on site full-time, 5 days per week

Salary: $21–$28 per hour

What you will do

• Create and maintain material master records in SAP, including classifications, warehouse assignments, and material types.
• Process material updates using SAP MM02 and execute mass data maintenance activities.
• Maintain component lists and transfer and release bills of material to support production.
• Establish and adjust inventory safety stock levels based on demand and operational needs.
• Perform POP data entry for the VCS program and support inventory planning and material management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Production teams while improving data accuracy and governance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and an understanding of material master data and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, inventory control, or master data management is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident able to obtain an interim or final suitability determination after the required background investigation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP material master functions, BOM management, and inventory planning.
• Experience with MRP concepts and inventory forecasting.
• Associate degree or previous manufacturing experience.
