Finance & Accounting Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and special projects.
• Support corporate accounting, fixed asset accounting, tax, treasury, cash management, and banking activities.
• Prepare and review financial reports, schedules, invoices, expense information, and other financial records.
• Support financial controls, compliance, audits, tax reporting, and international tax activities.
• Help implement or improve financial and treasury systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• Interest in accounting, finance, tax, treasury, or a related career area.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work year-round, approximately 20 hours per week during the academic year and full-time during summer and school breaks.

Nice to have

• Coursework or experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, internal controls, audit, compliance, or process automation.
• Microsoft Excel, financial analysis tools, accounting or ERP systems, data analytics, reporting, or visualization experience.
