Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States
Salary: $20.00 per hour; $500 sign-on bonus. Relocation assistance is available.

What you will do
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, account validations, classifications, and analytical reviews.
- Maintain subledgers and amortization schedules for fixed assets, leases, and prepaid accounts.
- Analyze payroll and benefits data to support accurate accounting entries.
- Support monthly reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis of Call Report information.
- Assist with internal control inquiries, process walkthroughs, and documentation of financial controls.
- Collaborate on special projects, ad hoc reporting, and analysis requests.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available for a 12-week internship during summer 2027.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn GAAP, Farm Credit Administration, Farm Credit System, and IRS accounting and reporting requirements.
